Like he's going to move there? That's likely.

Groce to Indiana....Book it.
They have more money, more resources, better facilites, a bigger fanbase, more attention nationally, and most importantly, more preferential access to a larger talent pool.
Indiana is not a blue blood anymore, if they ever were, but that's an outstanding job.
Simple: more of everything. Anything we can do, they can do better.
It's not even terribly close.
I think most people would put Indiana in the blue blood category:
Duke
UNC
Kansas
UCLA
Indiana
We're just not in the same conversation to be frank.

As in to replace Lickliter at Marion University?
The ADs for Indiana and NCSU didn't fire established coaches to replace them with a relative unknown such as Keatts.
Gottfried got there 4 out of 6 years. Crean 4 out of 9. I'll give Crean the benefit of the doubt his first 3 because of the Sampscum fallout.
Take a look at this list of openings from yesterday, which doesn't have Indiana on it: http://www.cbssports.com/college-ba...hing-changes-mizzou-hires-cals-cuonzo-martin/
The only school with an opening right now that is unambiguously a better job is Indiana. If Keatts makes it to an Elite 8, then yeah he probably becomes a contender for the IU job. But beyond IU, what other positions are out there that will be put in play if UNCW beats UVA? What other schools would be competing against?
lol
Hoosierdom would be beside itself.

I think Marshall to Indiana and I don't know who to NCSU, but it won't be Keatts, and I think Archie is holding out for tOSU so it won't be him.
I don't see how IU firing Crean can be anything but bad news for us.

I don't disagree, but I want to hear your timeline, just because I'm curious.Come talk to me about Duke's blueblood status once Coach K's replacement gets fired.
Indiana was a blueblood in the olden days. Same with UCLA. Both are still very good programs, but Michigan State has been more of a blueblood in the BT for 20 years.
The four bluebloods are Duke, UNC, Kansas, and Kentucky
There was a time many years ago that Army was a blueblood in football. But times change. Indiana is a really good program these days but no longer a blueblood. I put them with Arizona, UCLA, Michigan State, Villanova, and a few others.
Just the fact that IU was not available yesterday and Martin was still in the market would tell you that it is a very dynamic market of musical chairs. One win may not do it (and hopefully, they lose), but you also have the risk of advancing even further, more jobs become available, more coaches get off the market.

Coached into the early 90s too with some very good teams under Eddie Sutton. I didn't know saying Bill Self was a good recruiter prior to Illinois was so controversial. Really only need to listen to him speak once, and you kind of know the guy could charm a rattlesnake
