Seems like this is #notideal for the cowboys.

Dawson is the guy we might be interested in, but not a good look when recruits wait to see who the new coach is, you hire one of your assistants and then one decommits. Curious to see what Dawson and Glover do.
Actually, you hire 2 of your assistants.

Maybe Underwood was more involved with the recruiting than we thought?

Pickett is much more athletic than Hill was at Belleville East as a senior. I have seen Pickett throw down some very nice dunks this year in transition. He is very good at scoring in transition. He is a very good rebounder. He is very quick on the second jump. His shot is okay, not great. The thing that I am most concerned with is his ball handling. He really had to do it all for Belleville East this year. I am more excited now that he will be playing in Underwood's system. I wasn't sure how he would fit into Groce's offense. I think he is the wild card of our current incoming class. I did get to meet his parents at the Edwardsville Belleville West game, they were very nice and seemed like quality people. So I am rooting for him even more now.

I like quick on second jump. Especially if this stood out in HS. Seems like we always get out second-jumped.

IM curious why Tilmon hasn't reaffirmed his commitment like the other 3?

I should probably know this, but I don't: Has Smith taken a visit to Mizzou yet, and/or has Zo visited with him yet?

Probably a personal choice, but as long as he doesn't announce the reopening of his recruitment then it's fake news. A classic example of "no news is good news."

Conzou has visited him earlier this week. I'm sure he's visited Mizzou campus in the past since he was originally committed to play baseball there.

I don't think Mizzou is the one to worry about...

Cuonzo had an in-home with him Tuesday before Izzo, but it kind of got lost in the shuffle of Izzo offering and then eating at the local DQ.
And having been a Mizzou baseball commit, I'm sure he's familiar with the campus.

Looks like Tilmon hasnt touched twitter in a month or so. The only "re-commitment" that matters is the one he supposedly made to the coaches. Sucks for us fans not knowing exactly whats going on, but like someone else said the longer we hear nothing the better.

Full disclosure. I haven't been to a Dairy Queen since the 1970s and have no idea what a blizzard is. I just found the photo and idea of Tom Izzo at a DQ very funny for some reason. :thumb:

First DQ was opened in Joliet in 1940. :D
Haven't been to Joliet since the 90s:) (and I only live about an hour away now). Living in Chicago, Scottsdale and Brooklyn for 15 years before coming back 'home' really fractured my old haunts and ways.

Really happy BWood is keeping the class locked up. JT hasn't officially said it but I like our chances.

When people argue in the future I'll still give some credit for these recruits to BWood. He could have easily lost them.

But the Blizzard wasn't introduced until the 80's.

Actually in 1978 I remember going to the DQ on Green street and ordering a C squared B squared (Chocolate Chip Banana Blizzard). It wasn't on the menu yet, but could be ordered. :thumb:

There's been nothing but good reports and good news come out of the Tilmon camp, so I'm not sweating it. He is probably the least active on twitter of the 4 anyway, so who cares if he hasn't made it twitter official.
