Dawson is the guy we might be interested in, but not a good look when recruits wait to see who the new coach is, you hire one of your assistants and then one decommits. Curious to see what Dawson and Glover do.
Actually, you hire 2 of your assistants.
Pickett is much more athletic than Hill was at Belleville East as a senior. I have seen Pickett throw down some very nice dunks this year in transition. He is very good at scoring in transition. He is a very good rebounder. He is very quick on the second jump. His shot is okay, not great. The thing that I am most concerned with is his ball handling. He really had to do it all for Belleville East this year. I am more excited now that he will be playing in Underwood's system. I wasn't sure how he would fit into Groce's offense. I think he is the wild card of our current incoming class. I did get to meet his parents at the Edwardsville Belleville West game, they were very nice and seemed like quality people. So I am rooting for him even more now.
Dawson confirmed his commitment. Saw it somewhere on social media, a picture with him, Boynton and Evans.

Hill is not that athletic. Is that what you're saying about Pickett?
Probably a personal choice, but as long as he doesn't announce the reopening of his recruitment then it's fake news. A classic example of "no news is good news."IM curious why Tilmon hasn't reaffirmed his commitment like the other 3?
I should probably know this, but I don't: Has Smith taken a visit to Mizzou yet, and/or has Zo visited with him yet?

Cuonzo had an in-home with him Tuesday before Izzo, but it kind of got lost in the shuffle of Izzo offering and then drinking Blizzards at the local DQ.
And having been a Mizzou baseball commit, I'm sure he's familiar with the campus.
Full disclosure. I haven't been to a Dairy Queen since the 1970s and have no idea what a blizzard is. I just found the photo and idea of Tom Izzo at a DQ very funny for some reason. :thumb:FIFY

First DQ was opened in Joliet in 1940.
Haven't been to Joliet since the 90s (and I only live about an hour away now). Living in Chicago, Scottsdale and Brooklyn for 15 years before coming back 'home' really fractured my old haunts and ways.First DQ was opened in Joliet in 1940.
But the Blizzard wasn't introduced until the 80's.
