I think OA got hired a little late in the day to expect top 20 Nigerian kids from Montverde this year. But if he pulls it off I won't complain.

Pay conversation but this pretty much sums it up. Joe Hoops also referring to THT-Finke in his tweet I posted earlier. (And throwing some shade at Mike Irvin for repeatedly saying Pearson is the 2nd best player in the class this year.)

Hearing DJ Stewart less and less likely, really likes the idea of playing with Reggie Perry at Mississippi State.

Hearing Ayo, Finke, Pearson, and either Sow/Conditt will be the class, unless a guy like De Sousa wants in.

Oh man, a 2019-20 roster that could have Mark Smith, healthy DaMonte, Trent, Ayo, Whitney, Stewart at the guard/wings and Conditt, Ebo, Okoro, Vessel, Castleton, Ledell would not only be a Big Ten contender but maybe a team that could do some SERIOUS damage in March. *finishes kool-aid*

I would pour myself another glass. Swap out Stewart for Finke, and you might be on to something.

.From what I've read I have a bad feeling we may see De Sousa at SFC but in a Maryland uni.

Looking at 2018, it looks like MD could be putting together a monster class. Already have commitments from Jalen Smith (247 comp 34) & Aaron Wiggins (#43), lead for De Sousa (#26), and lots of other interest from top 50 players listed.

Also a big player for Moses Brown, another beast. Could be a scary team next year.

Freudian slip on THT's name? Not good that nobody, even Illinois guys, mentioned Finke being here.

:huh::huh::huh::huh::huh::confused::noidea::noidea:

I don't think you're crazy. For one thing, Ayo is no given and Finke and Pearson would be -uh, underwhelming I'd say.

Given the Ayo-Pearson-Irvins dynamic, I'd be very surprised if we don't end up with both or neither. If Ayo commits, I think Pearson will be right behind him. Highly doubt we take a Pearson commitment before Ayo.

Ayo would get anyone excited, Conditt/Castleton/Sow are all I expect out of the 5 and would be underwhelming but expected based on what we have to work with. The 3 is where someone like Finke would be underwhelming especially if combined with Pearson.

My dream 3: Ayo Dosunmu, Talen Horton-Tucker, Silvio De Sousa

Who we'll get? Your guess is as good as mine. I've got no idea.

Malik Hall number 7 in white. MOKAN playing without Jontay Porter. (Malik is an Aurora kid, so I've got to post this even if we're not really in the running for him -- although I don't know for sure if we are or aren't, don't hear his name much.)

#24 on the Iowa team is Joey Hauser, a top 50 kid from Stevens Point who is choosing soon. From looking at him on the CB Marquette is leading Wisconsin and hopefully it'll stay that way. He looks like a load.

Well the crazy part is the best part of his argument as I think Ayo is a two year player and uh, underwhelming otherwise.
