The Wisconsin fans are going in hard on this kid.
There's only one plausible reason.
He heard Ayo is committing here and wants to play with him.
On a serious note, I'm pretty excited to see what kind of players we can try to backdoor late in this '18 class if we have a 5 star to sell them. THT is first up, of course.
To say they're salty is an understatement. Even Frank the Tank chimed in on Twitter. (and then deleted the tweet, because it was tasteless)Wisconsin potentially losing a top 50, white kid FROM WI ???? That has to be rock bottom for them.

Has there every been a 5 star recruit commit to a school that no crystal balls predicted?
cb hasn't been around that long, but I would think that has not happened.
I dont think so but how illinois would it be for that to happen. We always say that they will commit to us even though their CB's all pick the other school and finally when we have the CB's it goes the other way hahhaah
I'm not 100% sure on this, but I think Kevon Looney to UCLA was a shocker for the CB predictions. I thought most had him going to Duke or Kentucky
Literally no one had him going to UCLA. https://247sports.com/PlayerInstitution/Kevon-Looney-at-Hamilton-18050/CurrentExpertPredictions
Happened a few months ago with Kevin Knox. This was one of the few times where I was pleased to see Kentucky land yet another star, because Tigerboard thought that Porter was going to attract Knox to Columbia as well.Has there every been a 5 star recruit commit to a school that no crystal balls predicted?

Although not common, it is also not strange for a commit to go to a school that no crystal ball predicted. Another example is Xavier Simpson, I don't think anyone had predicted Michigan as Michigan was not in his final 4.
When it is down to a final two, and all 13 crystal balls are Orange and Blue, it would be quite a shock to find out that everyone was wrong.
I just have a bad feeling about tomorrow. No particular reason, although the retweets don't help. Hopefully it's just my inherent pessimism and I'm wrong.

Relax my man. Prepare to celebrate tomorrow night! Get yourself a bottle of something good and crack it open #thechampisback
I'm just glad as a Notre Dame student I have the unique opportunity of Illinois getting Ayo over Wake Forest, Illinois beating Wake Forest in ACC/B1G, and Notre Dame beating Wake Forest in regular season, just like we did last year. Maybe we will get an easy draw in the ACC Tournament and get Wake Forest again for a 4th run in.
