Regarding Shaun, Illini were pretty much done in when Self left for Kansas. Weber was trying to recruit before ever coaching a game at Illinois. If it wasn't for Wayne it wouldn't have been as close as it was.

I'm just happy to hear that there is a national reason to wear black today. I didn't know about it. Wouldn't have trusted orange any more than I now read anything into the decision to wear black.

Not sure about UIUC these days, but when I attended the beloved, there were no F&F discounts/free tuition/similar perks for faculty. If I remember right, it was only one of two schools in the B10 at the time (the other?) that did not give free tuition to the kids of faculty members. And, yes, I was one.

All signs point to UIUC with AD. But I think I will be scarce until after the announcement for illogical reaasons. Bring him home, BU!

They still do. Doesn't have to be faculty. Administration does too.

I've periodically been hitting F5 over on Ayo's CB's. I am seriously impressed at how under wraps this has been. Only movement lately were 2 Illinois on 10/15 and 1 on 10/17. Usually late-game CB's tend to dogpile.

Furthermore, I can't see 100 percent of the crystal-ballers being wrong. Some have mediocre success rates, but all of them wrong? There's not one prediction for Ayo going to WF.

I remember 84, 89 and 2005 and I want Illinois back where it should be.

I know for certain where Ayo is going. I posted where Ayo is going for certain, a long time ago. The champ is on the way back! Having Ayo and Damonte will help us out a lot in Adam Miller's recruitment! Exciting times!
