Really felt this should have been a more comfortable win honestly. Questionable calls kinda kept the Panthers in it. A W is a W though.
This was the trap game of the week. Same with the Bears/TB game and the same with the colts/bears. Follow the money and percentage of bets.I might need to reevaluate the Bears win over Tampa in light of what they just did to Green Bay.
Sounds like you're saying 5-5 in those ten games, for a record of 10-6 overall.2nd straight really solid win. Next three teams will be rough. A combined 12-3 record.
After that, the last 7 are two games against GB and 5 bad teams.
It’s surprising how atrocious the Vikings are. I keep waiting for them to be better, but after getting thumped by Atlanta today, I guess they just must really be that bad.
That would be my prediction. Which would solidly put them in the playoffs with this year’s expanded format.Sounds like you're saying 5-5 in those ten games, for a record of 10-6 overall.
Seattle is the easy answer, 5-0 with Wilson throwing up huge numbers. But they’ve played a pretty unimpressive schedule and all of their wins are by one score.
Some of it is talent (o-line) and some of it is play design/calling. I like Nagy personally, seems like a good guy, but his offense is offensive at times. It's stunning to me how unproductive the Bears' offense has been under Nagy. In today's game teams pass for over 300 yards almost without trying and the Bears hardly ever get to 300 yards of total offense in games. I give Pace credit for putting together good defensive personnel but the talent on offense is just poor.
Do though numbers include defensive and special teams scores? Year 1, I seem to remember, had a lot of those. Two things...
- The Bears scored more points in the first 16 games under Nagy (421) than they have in the next 22 (not including the playoff game) games (408).
- They are averaging 21.8 points per game over the last 38 games. They are at 21.3 points per game this year, good for 27th out of 32. They were 29th last year at 17.5 points per game.
They do include non-offensive touchdowns.Do though numbers include defensive and special teams scores? Year 1, I seem to remember, had a lot of those.
