I just read an article about him where he discussed working hard to add weight and muscle. He said that he is up to 200.

Decided to check a little more, defensive tackle, pro bowl 2 years, played around 6"5" about 260. Luke might just fill out some.

Excited to have Goode. Excited to have what sounds like a gamer. Maybe his shot % will increase now that he does not handle pg duties, but in long run, may also have improved his handles. Toughness seems to be his mo, along with smarts, and also shooting.

Give me that profile every time !

Luke’s dad played college football and his uncle was an All-American offensive lineman at Missouri. He has 3 cousins that play college football too. Fletch is going to have some fun with Luke for sure.

6-7 200 is pretty accurate. He's put on some muscle.

Does anyone know why Mac is waiting until spring to commit?

Don't know if he will necessarily wait until the spring to commit. Wouldn't shock me if he committed towards the end of 2020 or early 2021. Similar to what Kofi did.

Marquette, Miami, UCLA, and Illinois are the main group as of right now.

Luke's grand father is Irv Goode who was an OG for the St. Louis Big Red . I really like this recruit. Illini should have him for 4 years.

I live in Fort Wayne and watched him play a few times last year. I thought the same thing, that he didn't seem that tall. I ran in to him a couple weeks ago, and I would say he's a legit 6'7 now.

Won't it be nice to have some legitimate sharpshooters! Seems every year we face teams that have an entire stable full of assassins and we have 20-35% type guys. Looking forward to Goode, Miller, and Hawkins (Yes, I truly believe he is going to be a real threat outside and stretch the court). Perhaps even a little TyTy Washington with any luck. Not sure what we will see come game time for some of the others but these guys can stroke it from what I've seen

Heard this afternoon that Hoiberg and Abdelmassih locked up Bryce McGowens and he is coming to join his brother at Nebraska. Should be official Friday.

Now for some good news, as I said earlier in the week, Washington was down to two (Creighton and Illinois). Talked with a good source this afternoon, and he said we should be getting some good news this weekend...
