This team does lack some killer instinct at times but they sure do know how to close. Tough 4 games possibly 5 coming down the stretch. I got a feeling like we haven’t seen our best yet. BU will have them ready.
4th place in the MAC and outside Kenpom top 100... that’s a 15 seed if they’re lucky enough to win their tourney.
I do, especially since he is quite good at playing the middle when they go zone.Anyone else find it strange that Grandison starts, plays really well and is a huge part of why we jump out to an early lead, and ends up with just 12 minutes?
I was curious about this so I looked up the 15 seeds from 2019. Colgate was 126 on Kenpom. Montana 137. Nebraska was 130 when we faced them (and rose to 124 as a result of that game).Great take. The only 15 or 16 seeds we played this year we beat by 60.
I’d agree except for fact I think Giorgi has had double figures in at least 2 of our losses.I would like to put forth that I believe that we will win every game this year where Giorgi scores in double figures.
As well, we will win every game we play when we have four players in double figures.
I stand by this.
I will amend my statement by saying this applies to all games going forward.I’d agree except for fact I think Giorgi has had double figures in at least 2 of our losses.
Some of the misses were front ends as well. Double trouble.11-22 from the free throw line isnt going to cut it in the big dance.
Coach said he was comfortable with DW at the 4 late, nothing about Grandison in his presser.Have to assume it was due to rebounding..or lack thereof
BU just addressed this in postgame presser — it was about liking the defensive matchup with DMW. BU also just trusts DMW so much, so unless he is in foul trouble or playing poorly, he’s likely gonna get large majority of the minutes last half of second half.I do, especially since he is quite good at playing the middle when they go zone.
It's really not as bad as some may think. It give coaches lot's of board material for practice, and the players know they have to be better.Everyone knows it. Illinois has the stuff to be Elite this year, if they will only get out of their own way with the silly unforced errors.
Underwood talks about it often, and yet once again we see the 5 minute mental laps that lead to the lazy pass turnovers. And once again we let a team on the ropes right back in the game...........but good teams still find a way to win.
Watching the same game you're watching. Every time he gets called for a foul or gives up a rebound after being in terrible position he has a sour puss look on his face EVERY TIME.What are you watching? That’s an honest question. I haven’t seen Adam pout once all season. Misses a shot and busts out on D. Makes a shot and busts out on D.
Not seeing it, ref. You might be a little too drunk and perceiving things.Watching the same game you're watching. Every time he gets called for a foul or gives up a rebound after being in terrible position he has a sour puss look on his face EVERY TIME.

I have been known to throw a few back. Not seeing it, ref. You might be a little too drunk and perceiving things.
Losing at home to Maryland doesn't count? Dang. This team has not been humbled this year.
