Nimari we have a good shot at. Hardy is a pipe dream, but it is possible. If that pipe dream comes true, preseason top 10 again. Even with nimari we should be a top 25 and that is without all the other pieces we are likely to add.

i looked on 247 and were warm with them among with many other teams and kentucky and ucla are warmer. it also showed him most likely going pro. Where has it shown any evidence that hardy would commit to us and when does he commit?

Slight difference in changing out 5 one and done recruits like a hockey shift change and adding one to the roster.

With what they showed on Tuesday without Ayo, if Kofi comes back they will preseason top 10 no matter what

This is a crazy post but not because I don’t agree with you. It is crazy to see how far we have come in two or three years. the idea that we might not want a player of his caliber because our current players are too good makes me pick my jaw up off the floor.

Seven Elite 8's and four Final Fours in the last 10 years seems pretty consistent. And yes I realize we are not Kentucky nor or we attempting fully hockey line changes year after year but to suggest the model is too volatile to be effective is far from accurate.

We were absolutely lead by our veterans Trent and DMFW on Tuesday so, yes if they come back. Adding Hutch makes it even better. Without them, I'd dial back expectations a bit, even if we add Nimari (who really hasn't proven himself at the college level yet in my mind). As we have seen, even with talent, it takes time to develop a defensive mindset, understanding, and ability which is what this team is rolling with currently.
