With no true PG besides Curbelo back next year, I think TyTy is at the top of my wish list. (unless there's a transfer PG I don't know about)

would a player at his caliber want to be a backup?
I've honestly never seen him play. And really outside of Curbelo and Miller, I'd say the other 3 starting spots are open for competition. Hutcherson has still not made it back to campus. We'd need to start 1 big. But that still leaves 2 open spots in the starting lineup unless we assume Grandison keeps his.

Holmgren and Bates (reclassify) may or may not be a package deal to Illinois. My Venmo will be up for donations soon.

In all seriousness.. It will be very interesting how this all plays out. I’d like to think it’s safe to assume Curbelo and Miller are locks in the starting rotation.

If AH is healthy and as good as reports does he start as a “new age” 4? Gunner off the bench? Who is that 3rd guard?

Recruiting is addictive. I suppose that’s why I loved College Hoops 2k7 so much on 360. Unfortunately, can’t find my copy.

To everyone that hasn’t seen Tyty play, drop everything and go to Twitter right now. I’ve seen him play (virtually) maybe 15x now and he’s seriously one of the best scoring guards I’ve ever seen at the HS level. Absolute NBA talent at 6’4” and imo Top 15 overall player in the 2021 class. A backcourt of Belo, Ace & Tyty would be SPECIAL. He’s that good 🤷‍♂️ I’d take him over Nimari any day

And he would play the combo so could step right in where Ayo left off. This is my dream recruiting scenario and plenty of other fans of other schools have the same dream lol. Arthur Kaluma has reopened his commitment to UNLV and wants to play with Tyty supposedly

I'd also prefer TyTy if given the choice. Both want to commit and they both say either or, I'm taking TyTy. He just has that pitbull mentality that I'm going to get the job done.

I think either player would start alongside Curbelo and Miller.

Is it possible TyTy would be ok with a role like the one Belo had this year? Not starting, but getting a lot of minutes off the bench? I mean, for any kid as highly ranked as him I'm sure playing time is a factor, but looking at Creighton's roster I don't think it was a given there that he'd start day 1 either (Zegarowski may be back, as may one or both of their senior guards, and they already had a couple guards coming in in the 2021 class at the time TyTy originally committed)

Burnett adding Auburn this late in the game isn’t a real good sign. I wouldn’t put anything past Satan. Watching a lot of video on TyTy and color me extremely impressed. Whoever gets that kid is getting one heck of a player.

Nikki B is running the show in Nimari recruitment... Anything can happen.

TyTy is going to be a stud and personally, I feel really good about where we sit with him. We are in a lot better position than people think...
