This is where someone like Myles Johnson could help. Giorgi can't guard Big 10 centers for 25-30 minutes a game.
Apparently, he is a CS grad, which is an amazing accomplishment given the demands of basketball as well. If he wants to continue that line of study, which it seems he does, going home and attending Stanford makes sense, but we are a very highly rated CS school as well. He would be a fantastic pick-up for us.

They mentioned a bunch of times that he had offers from several Ivys. He plays the game right despite not being a great athlete. He will help wherever he goes.

IVY: That'd be a great career decision. He'd dominate in his final year of basketball and have Ivy on his resume. Set for life!

What if OA can solve that issue? He never had to be a big rebounder at Wisky. What if he can be a 12-7 guy? Would that work?

He absolutely needed to be a big rebounder for Wisconsin. This was one of their (many) issues this year.

He'll transfer to some place like Butler and play good minutes.

transfer portal =934 and counting.
Someone is going to make a nice team out of transfers. There is a ton of talent out there. The key is to find kids who will fit the culture and role needed. I am glad we have a good core and are not trying to build a brand new team

I agree, we should be able to fill a big if Kofi moves on and a PG if we miss out on a few players we are recruiting.

Franklin would be a nice replacement for Trent. Has good size and shoots great from the 3. Still feel we need someone to take the last shot. Obviously Ayo may have been the best in program history. Right now you put the ball in Curbs hands, he just needs to develop his outside shot. If Kofi returns, obviously you make him a treat to score in close games.
I'm going with Adam Miller!

Myles Johnson

“As a junior, the 6-11, 255-pounder is on track to graduate with honors in Electrical Engineering and wants to pursue grad programs in that field.

“I've thought about the idea of leaving but I'm still thinking about the possibility of staying here,” he said. “I've been accepted into Rutgers already so it's definitely an option. I've been here the whole time so it's always on the table. If I were to leave, the Pac-12 is by my house with good engineering schools, so those would be the top locations. I was looking at UCLA, Stanford, and USC, which are the top engineering schools in the PAC-12 that are around me and are competitive. I'm just going to need to hear those schools' pitch, what they say, what their plans are, how I would be implicated into the team, and if I just like the coach and stuff like that. I don't know the situation with visits, so it's all up in the air.”
I know a great electrical engineering school in Champaign, ILL. No bias whatsoever.

"....how I would be 'implicated'...." jumped out at me when I read that.

I was immediately wondering if he is leaning towards Kansas...LOL

Yep, my daughter is also a Rutgers CS grad and that is not an easy major.
