The thing about NIL is that all college athletes will be trying to get their share and there is only so much money that will be available. We're focused on Kofi, but at schools that have a good football and basketball team, it will be a scramble to see who can get money from sponsors. I think in the future, the money for each athlete will be smaller than what is anticipated. Look at Baylor, good football, basketball, and track teams and there are only so many sponsors. To me, $25-50,000 per athlete will be the norm. Of course, there will always be one or two athletes at a college that will get more, but it won't be dozens.
