I'm turning audio off, too distracting. This announcer is bringing the original play energy to the replays lmao
That shove to the head was unnecessaryShould have been an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty after the TD. It certainly would have been called if it was us.
YESSSSSSSS!!!!!! Absolutely mind-numbing!!!Why do we NEVER run back kicks?
Last win in Iowa City was 1999. Bielema was still there.Great start!!!! Let's beat these Iowa bums, its been too long since we've beaten the Hawkeyes!!!! I-L-L....I-N-I!!!!
We need to develop a kick return game
I understand not running it out of the end zone, but a fair catch at the 10 isn’t good.I am pretty sure Ive seen a stat that shows it’s rarely worth it. Yes, a big return can be a momentum shift, but the overwhelming majority of returned kickoffs fail to get past the 30 yard line. While this is better than the 25, the risk of injury or fumble is not worth the reward.
Keep in mind: Iowa is the outlier here, not Illinois. I think Michigan returns a lot too.
