I'm not worried about KSU. Maybe, one day, towards the end of his career, I could see him making a pit stop, just to put a nice bow on his career. KSU is two levels below Illinois. They aren't even in the same conversation with the schools in their own state. He's not dumb. He has established a program at Illinois, he's in one of the prime recruiting area in the country, he's established pipelines, he has great recruiting classes stacked, he's one of the top 15(or 10) highest paid coaches in the country, he's got an huge buyout because they just extended his contract in the fall and Whitman will match or exceed any other offer. BU loves his alma mater, as well he should. He's not going to blow up his career over it however.
Now, if it were Kansas, Kentucky, UCLA, UNC....I'd have my ears perked up. KSU is ridiculous.
