Wonder if staff has reached out to Noah Locke. If there's no interest, there's no interest. But IMO he's a slightly better play than Jarod Lucas. I struggle with taking a kid from a team with 3 wins this past year. Idk maybe that's just me. The Lucas kid can flat out shoot, I could be overthinking things

Also I will try to ask the question @Joel Goodson asked in yesterday's thread.

How serious is the staff about Courtney Ramey? Wouldn't be the worst option for a veteran PG, but I was hoping we could find someone better in the portal.

Always felt like he was underrated here, but team performance probably had a big impact on that.

I’d expect more out of Morez, but I’d take another Leron Black in a heartbeat.

I watched both Morez and his teammate James Brown Jnr w/St. Rita play last winter and made the comparison of the 2 kids to a couple of former IL HS great big man post players respectively: Marcus Griffin (Peoria Manual) and Melvin Ely (Thornton). I watched both these guys back in the mid 90s and both Morez and his teammate Brown look so much like them, in regards to their styles of play and how hard they play in the post. Not saying both the kids will be as good as these former McD AA and college greats, but they are definitely projecting that way.

I do think Brown is the better of the 2, just because he looks to be a tad bit taller and longer, but also just appears to me to have a slightly more well-rounded game. But Morez is no slouch, and I love his energy and just how hard he battles down low. If he can develop a consistent jumper, and just continue to evolve his post moves then he has a chance to be very good. Consistency is key, and with how hard he plays I don't see any issues with a slippage in his national ranking. IMO he will remain at worst, a Top 50 prospect but could project upwards into a Top 25 prospect.

Will be interesting to see where Morez ends up physically. Already has two inches on Leron and appears to still be growing, plus I'd say he's more fluid than Leron was. Whenever I think of what Morez can be, I can't help but think of that Michael O'Brien tweet where he said Morez might have the most potential of any recruit he's ever seen in Chicago. If he only reaches 90% of his potential that's still some pretty wild company.
