Been sorta keeping up with these recruiting threads. But as my mother used to say "a watched pot never boils." Relax and let BU and crew do their job.

Mostly just semantics on rebuild. First, there's rebuild a program, which BU clearly has done. Then there's rebuilding a team which is what we're going to have to do right now. We have essentially three returning players. Sometimes that rebuilding process lasts a whole year and you have a rebuilding year. Think about when all those seniors left in the late 90s and Kruger had virtually no experience and not much star talent coming in. I don't see that in the offing. We have enough pieces returning and enough talent coming in that we can expect to make the tournament. If the roster stopped where it is right now I'd say we're on the bubble, but one or two experienced pieces coming will make me confident that we'll be in.

I get that. And let's be honest, this is just a pointless discussion of semantics. But I think what BU inherited 5 years ago was a rebuild. I, personally, can't use the same term for what's happening this year.For some reason I doubt the people referring to this as a rebuild were implying that a team that has won a Big Ten Tournament and a Big Ten Championship the last two seasons wasn't "good enough" and are instead referring to the complete overhaul of the roster from one season to the next, but maybe I'm giving them too much credit.
I understand where the board is coming from though. Just adding my perspective.
Just saw the whole 7:30 of the Hawkins interview. I'm going to put Bret Behrens in a timeout for a week. His snippets from that interview really really distorted the reality of what was actually said.
Would I be a better alternative? Weather in Providence Rhode Island just isn’t suiting my taste so far…..

All I really got from the CoHawk clip was confirmation that BU and staff have been working overtime sorting through and recruiting the portal. We should start seeing the fruits of their labor soon.
