On a few Illini Facebook groups I follow, they are alleging we land TSJ and a ‘24 Recruit, both of which might bring another with them. Granted these two sets will likely not play together and is totally coincidental. Not sure of their sources but they are talking like it’s a done deal. 🤷‍♂️.

I think I’m going to catch some shuteye and dream sweet Illini dreams.

Before anyone else? It seems to be just someone who is hiding behind a pseudonym and doing some combination of educated guesswork and/or sharing premium information. I don't subscribe to premium sites so I cannot confirm either way, but said account has seemingly made things up in the past as well (like the anecdote about Calipari).

Sure it may still be him. The insiders claimed there was smoke there, though one of them specifically said their news was not related to TSJ. I guess we will find otu tomorrow.

Manny Bates is my guess, seems like the perfect fit for what we’re trying to transition too & most importantly he was injured all last year so he’s gotta be coming to us

People already knew about the NIL deal with Pack the day before which was when he posted it and Curbelo was always linked to St. John’s, same with Hopkins and Providence. This dude is not an insider and has pushed false information.

This Marc Fiscarelli account tweeted that John Calipari was meeting with the Kentucky AD to discuss his future after the Saint Peter's loss... the problem is that was completely false, Cal was in St. Louis and did not meet with the Kentucky AD. The account from a whopping 355 followers to 800 something.

This not a real scoop. This is a person (I don't think if Marc F. is a real guy, I can't find a record outside of the twitter account) making stuff up and hoping to be right. This account does not deserve any attention.
