Yeah, college coaches are limited in the amount of time that they can work with players in the offseason, and I don't think it's enough time to completely overhaul a shot form. Instead they might make minor tweaks and just try to get guys comfortable doing what they do. It isn't until guys hit the pros that they will make drastic changes (see Lonzo Ball) and even then I think it's usually with trainers in the offseasons.
I was thinking that Ayo significantly altered his shot between seasons. But maybe not.

You might be right, I know it definitely improved over his 3 years, but I don't remember one big off season change. I was really just trying to throw out a theory, but it came out sounding a little more know-it-all than I intended 🤷‍♂️

Off topic: Just found out I have to go to Lafayette for work in a few weeks.

Purdue beat us twice but we won the BIG.
Do I have wiggle room to talk crap to everyone or should I keep my mouth shut?
They lost to a 15 seed in the NCAA tourney that call themselves the Pelicans (with a trip to the Elite 8 on the line) lol. So you would have every right to talk crap to them (if they give you crap of course). No way in hell will they ever live that down lol. That is going to haunt their fanbase for years.

Also avoid avoid XXX and Harry's at all costs (total sausage fest)

Other than that have a good time and don't work too hard. (y)

NEVER pass up a chance to talk crap to Purdue. Just need to choose the format carefully, given the above. Something like, "I know you didn't win the Big Ten this year, do you at least have a BTT title in the last couple years?"
Pull that in Iowa and you’ll be in a fight.
Pull that in East Lansing and you might get shot.
West Lafayette, you’ll be ok….although you won’t make many friends.

1) I’d win.

2) bruh I’m from the south side of Chicago

3) I don’t need west Lafayette type friends
Um, there are a lot of losers in the South Side, unless you are from Krypton, you aren't bulletproof. I grew up in Cabrini Green....that makes me old and white still lol I have friends in West Lafayette that are cool. Oh, and Iowa sucks, even to people who live there.

I think they have an atrocious 2022 class coming in as well... who knows... pre-season rankings mean zilch!
Have always pretty much agreed with this. The writer is being lazy and basing this mainly upon returning starters.

There is also a somewhat flawed projection that Kris Murray will take that big leap like his brother last year. However, then there is the late emergence of last season freshman bench guard, Payton Sandfort. Perkins is expected to potentially be All B1G, although not likely first team. They lack a big ... mainly for D and R. They like four others were in the final hunt for Fardaws Aimaq, who opted for Texas Tech. They filled their guard loss depth in part with a decent (not great, but not atrocious) incoming class.

I would put them about 5th in the B1G; but 15 overall is way too high, agreed.
