St. John's has a higher profile in almost every way I can think of.I made no mention of "better." SC is clearly the highest profile of the three.

Can we start a St. John's vs. SC thread.St. John's has a higher profile in almost every way I can think of.
It's Cody Allen, not sure if it's just Rees's Pseudonym, but at least Cody appears to use proper grammar and knows how to write complete sentences.Rees Woodcock has zero connection to anything and just regurgitates what he hears from the rumor mill.
Also, for everyone else, Rees Woodcock alert.
I didn't even click. I just saw the site and ignored. It's Cody Allen, not sure if it's just Rees's Pseudonym, but at least Cody appears to use proper grammar and knows how to write complete sentences.
SC has a higher profile, so it really ought to be a SC vs. St John's thread IMO.Can we start a St. John's vs. SC thread.
Does anyone really care...Can we start a St. John's vs. SC thread.

...and you can't even blame a slow recruiting day. Powell's visit and BBV alighting in SC formed a typhoon blowing through compared with the recruiting crickets lately.Everyone, I truly apologize for what I somehow started here. In a long line of silly arguments, this has to be among the most irrelevant.
I disagree and say it's highly relevantEveryone, I truly apologize for what I somehow started here. In a long line of silly arguments, this has to be among the most irrelevant.

The emergence of the Southeast Conference as a major roundball power has been one of the big developments the last few years.
Well you didn't think much. SEC >big east for starters. 2017 Final Four vs St Johns 1985. Plus they have BBV who I am pulling for him more since I like how he played and hate coach Cal. I think he will look forward to expanding his game there. Good luck BBVSt. John's has a higher profile in almost every way I can think of.

I actually see that St. John’s is on TV more than SC because FS1 regularly broadcasts Big East games. Can’t say I actually watched them this year (but don’t think I watched SC either). I’m sure SEC network broadcasts some SC games (I don’t watch the network), but seems like ESPN broadcasts the better schools in SEC more than SC and the other also rams in SEC.If you are arguing about profile in the NYC or New England area, sure. But go poll a random casual basketball fan elsewhere and see if they've seen more/heard more about St. Johns or South Carolina. The SEC has far more national visibility than the Big East, even if St. Johns has a stronger history. It's a lot easier to find South Carolina on TV nationwide that St. Johns.
Again, I said higher profile, not strongest historical program.
Sea levels are rising. 42.99 feet.I mean, would it really be Loyalty without going down this type of rabbit hole?
Honestly I get more concerned with the Recruiting Thread is nothing but boring recruiting posts. And usually we learn something. Like today I learned St. Johns is in Queens...and it's 43' above sea level. None of us knew that before today. Now you can use it in an unreasonable way to end a drunk argument.
"You don't even know the elevation of St. Johns University! Idiot!"
