Masters in basket weaving?
For graduate studies in weaving toward the basket (or, frankly, simply weaving on the perimeter and then committing a TO as the shot clock expires), I believe Bruce Weber was the acknowledged national expert, and the doctoral program at K-State unrivalled. UNC traditionally has been a second-tier program in this field.
With his retirement, and status as Professor Emeritus of Weaving, he'll have the latitude to range widely throughout the nation, spreading the gospel of eye-watering, unaesthetic offensive sets throughout his prodigious coaching tree.
It's unclear who will succeed him at the top of the field. Uneasy is the head wearing such a crown.
(And please, no abuse for poking fun at BAM. He's a good man, and I wish him a long, vigorous and healthy retirement, but he deserves the ribbing.)
