This is the point. If you want to be "elite", you've got to act like it. You have to focus on winning the next game, not worrying about wounding egos. The culture has to be competition, not entitlement. You don't wait for your "turn". You earn it. If you can't, you might need to leave and that's okay. There are plenty of guys who will want to compete for a spot on a winning team.

Maybe a small thing - but with renovations forcing the boys to practice full time at the Hall for the meantime - gotta think it’s also helping the new guys get a bit more familiar and comfortable with the settings and layout there. Hope it feels even more like home to some of them as a result.
