......Ty Rodgers?
Neil Bresnahan got 21 rebounds at the Kentucky Invitational in the magical 1979 season where we were ranked #1 for 48 hours after we upset Magic Johnson's team on Thursday but lost to OSU on Saturday. One wonders what we would have done if Steve Lanter had not blown out his knee ending his career. Shows while you have to have a back PG.

I realize Brad isn’t here to make everyone happy, but will take some excellent coaching to get everyone to buy into accepting their role and not focusing on improving their draft stock. It’s ultimately a good problem to have and one the elite programs deal with every year.
This is the point. If you want to be "elite", you've got to act like it. You have to focus on winning the next game, not worrying about wounding egos. The culture has to be competition, not entitlement. You don't wait for your "turn". You earn it. If you can't, you might need to leave and that's okay. There are plenty of guys who will want to compete for a spot on a winning team.

Not sure what the bold is supposed to mean 🫤

I mean, we all believe Harris is going to be good. We literally all believe that every player we get is going to be good. We convinced ourselves that Reggie Bass was going to be a stud, until he decommitted.

Either way, looks like we’re in agreement. 🤷‍♂️

Nothing bold in my post.
I have never held the belief that every player we get is going to be good. I also don't criticize a player before they play a moment as an Illini.

Rodgers even taking Damonte's number! What do you bet that's not an accident?
Rodgers was also #20 at Thornton and his Twitter is @Ty_rodgers20
