Community Shield is tomorrow and the season starts next weekend, which means this is the final weekend without Premier League football until the World Cup break.

Tomorrow's Community Shield match between Manchester City and Liverpool will kickoff at 11:00 AM CT and air on ESPN+. Match is being played at King Power Stadium due to Wembley hosting the women's Euro final on Sunday. Last time Wembley didn't host the Community Shield match was in 2012 when Wembley hosted the men's Olympic gold medal final between Brazil and Mexico. That year the match was instead held at Villa Park.

does anyone want to do an IL fantasy EPL league?

Which website / format are you thinking? I did a fantrax one last year that was a snake draft. Or were you thinking salary cap?

Welcome back Premier League! Liverpool drop points immediately.

Even though I'm a big Chelsea fan, I can't help but root for Leeds with Aaronson and Adams on the team. I'm hoping they kill it this year against everyone except Chelsea.

It will be really interesting to compare Aaronson and Pulisic come World Cup time. Aaronson looks to be a main guy at Leeds and fits perfectly with what they are trying to do, while Pulisic is struggling to get playing time at Chelsea and might be transferred.

This is going to be a very very very hot take, but I'm not sold on Pulisic starting in the World Cup. He most likely will, but you never know. If Aaronson is playing well, Gio comes back and plays at Dortmund, and Weah is a big part of Lille then Pulisic might have to be left out.

No reason all 4 of them cannot start with 2 players in the 6 role behind them

You know who owns Arsenal right....
Biggest d-bag in sports
as bad as KSE may be, that seems an unlikely reason to support a club. no, KBLEE is as big a supporter of spurs as Neale Stoner Fan Club is of arsenal. the former is more balanced in his love for his club with his disdain for his rival while the latter prefers to show unbridled optimism for his club. it's fun to see both and occasionally poke at KBLEE by asking how full the spurs trophy cabinet is.

Tottenham have a talented team and manager and perhaps this is the year they win something. it's certainly a selling point to convince a player that they are the missing cog to win Tottenham's first modern era trophy.

however the spurs and arsenal finish, I hope we can both agree on beating chelsea this season.

I don't watch enough of other clubs matches to know but I'm curious who you think your club's flops have been lately.

I'll start with arsenal. the biggest one to me has been pepe; moments of brilliance but too few and far between. nuno Tavares wasn't great last season and I'm not a fan of Cedric either. I was optimistic about rob holding when we acquired him but not so much lately, especially the last NLD. I would not be sad if we sold xhaka but we would need to bring in a world class midfielder before we let him go.

Pretty much every number 9 Chelsea sign, lol.

Most recent I can think of was probably James Rodriguez, though that may have been more due to how little he got used after Rafa took over.
