Yeah there really is nothing wrong with our current setup, I like them all quite a bit, but I feel like we are due for something good. Either a 2005 throwback, or a new non-throwback set to pair with our current throwbacks. Would be nice to have something new, but I feel less urgency than I do with football.
I liked them too, as a once or twice a year option. I thought the gray with the orange rather than the gray with the blue was a unique look.
What game was that? I don't recall.

Villanova game the last time we played Jimmy V....Jersey was the only thing grosser than our second half collapse
Pretty sure the blues are cursed.
They really are though the win at Wisconsin in 2020 was for me kind of the turning point of the whole rebuild and we did wear blues for that one.

I’d like to see the script “Illinois” in orange. Have droned in about it on the board occasionally.
Saw it in person in the display case in the AH Illini Basketball Hall of Fame last July when I talked my way in there late one afternoon. Loved it. Just get rid of that awful Nike or whatever it is current uniform font.
I’d also like to see a return to belted shorts.

Adidas makes a terrible product and Under Armour does make an impressive product but has been struggling financially and I don’t think they are adding any new sponsorship deals in the past 5 or so years. I know Nike has its problems but there really isn’t likely a better option.

In my experience Nike is a crap product just as much as anyone else. They will also always treat some programs as their golden children and we are not one of those few.
I do laugh every time I see jumpman on the Michigan football uniforms.

Have you seen an Adidas football jersey? One typo on a t-shirt is not worth looking awful on Saturdays.
I think Nike is probably the least bad option, but they haven't exactly nailed our football jerseys the last few tries either.
