That's definitely true, and I had the same thought when I was compiling the record. But if you go back and look at some of the games that we lost wearing those uniforms, it really is stunning how ugly and shocking some of those losses were. The Eastern Illinois exhibition game, for example. The UNLV game. At Wake Forest. Heartbreaking losses at Maryland. Loses at Penn State, Rutgers, Minnesota, Nebraska, etc. Multiple first round exit losses at the B1G tourney.
So yeah, we are looking at a window of time that is the darkest in recent memory, and you would often wear blue on the road at teams that feature red for example (Wisconsin, Ohio State, Maryland).
But when you dig deep its not just the record, but that these jerseys represent some of the most painful and shocking losses in the past 10 years. I'm certainly one who would love to have crisp navy jerseys that look among the best in the conference. But if BU and others want to go nowhere near them for the foreseeable future, I totally get it.
