I love those old Illinois jerseys with the scrunched-up but elongated lettering. Was a thing for many decades.

Bardo looking jacked in that pic. Still amazes me that those Illini squads were huge at guard, but small at center. Im in love with the style, but I want it to be orange. Orange all day every day for me!

DT has a killer-look in the pic and in that uniform, noice. His record of being the Illini all-time leading scorer may stay in-place for a long, long time with portal moves and players leaving early, but we'll see.

I don't really care for any blue uniform they've ever had. We should have 4 sets, orange and white of both the Fighting Illini Throwbacks and orange and the script Illinois.
It is a bit weird that blue is a foundational color for football, and I don't need it at all in basketball, but it is what it is.

This is kind of where I'm at. There are blues I'm ok with. But I'd take most of our orange or whites over even the best of our blues. I'd just add the early-to-mid 2000s oranges and whites to your rotation, but that's probably mostly my own personal nostalgia at play.

The script whites don't really fit our branding standards and hearken back to a mostly unknown, unloved era of the program, but they just look so damn good.
I'm a little more skeptical than my stalwart ally in these threads @mattcoldagelli that it could be the basis of our whole athletic department brand, but let's keep wearing those basketball jerseys forever.
