They’re fighting with a vim.
I believe it was the 1953 game at Iowa... big fight, lots of thrown 'things'.... at us... We didn't play Iowa again until 1967... So this kind of behavior is not new...I guess. It seems to only happen with losing teams and it's been like that for nearly 100 years.
How long was Howard suspended for punching Gard in the face? It will be less than that.yea, some MSU players will get suspended for at least one game, if not more, for that .
It's been like that for, what, a century? Yet teams generally don't jump each other. That'll happen when there's only one tunnel in and out of the stadium.

No, this'll happen when one team acts like a group of a-holes. And for once it's seemingly not scUM.
yup make UM wait while the visitors use it first. Why has the B1G taken forever to require this ? especially after the PSU gameIt's more about the timing that Michigan uses for teams entering and leaving the tunnel. Especially for a rivalry game like Michigan-Michigan State, there should be better work of timing when the teams come in and out of the tunnel.
He punched the assistant. Remaining regular season, which I believe was 5 games? How long was Howard suspended for punching Gard in the face? It will be less than that.
The fact that there was just one scum player makes me think he was not following established protocol.yup make UM wait while the visitors use it first. Why has the B1G taken forever to require this ? especially after the PSU game
It absolutely is scUM. There is a reason there have been 2 altercations in 3 weeks in that tunnel. The common denominator is UM. This isn't exactly the first time UM has been good either where the program shouldn't know how to act when winning. UM has a culture between FB and BB that has no sportsmanship. It's been like that for, what, a century? Yet teams generally don't jump each other.

Horrible take hereIt absolutely is scUM. There is a reason there have been 2 altercations in 3 weeks in that tunnel. The common denominator is UM. None of that excuses what the MSU players did but like Franklin said this type of situation was brewing.
Seriously? It’s analogous to…….She was wearing a skirt. She had it coming. It absolutely is scUM. There is a reason there have been 2 altercations in 3 weeks in that tunnel. He was injured with an ACL injury and was heading down to get treatment. That’s why he was separated. Lots of times treatment needs to take place as soon as the game ends as trainers want to get home as well. The fact that there was just one scum player makes me think he was not following established protocol.
Holy crap.Second video, this one is short but shows a MSu player swinging their helmet.
Yep...this short video shows a good deal more than the first or previous one.....blows with the helmet definitely being delivered...that's gonna get a pretty hefty suspension....don't care how it started....can't allow players to be throwing punches and using their helmets to opponents!Second video, this one is short but shows a MSu player swinging their helmet.
Clearly missed the "none of that excuses what MSU players did"Seriously? It’s analogous to…….She was wearing a skirt. She had it coming.
Totally disagree what the videos show is inexcusable period. No one is saying the player deserved what happened. This is a case of an institution knowing they had the potential for this type of incident and did nothing about it even with warnings. Nor did they put in mitigations to protect the playerSeriously? It’s analogous to…….She was wearing a skirt. She had it coming.
1000% true and people winding themselves into that take because they hate Michigan so much is the true spirit of college football and I love and support it.Seriously? It’s analogous to…….She was wearing a skirt. She had it coming.
This is exactly right. I'm very surprised that Jim Harbaugh allowed them to throw long twice like that in the end. I still respect Harbaugh as a Coach, but that was a mistake, bad sportsmanship, and broke the unwritten rule of rubbing it in. I have had the game in Ann Arbor circled for a long time. Man, all I want for Xmas is a win against either Michigan or OSU. I think if we win one out of two (and of course beat MSU, Purdue, and NW), how do they keep us out of the Rose Bowl?
This is Michigan State that we are talking about. It took them 19 years to fire Nassar. You really think Tucker should be fired over this?
Its a tough call regardless, ,may have jumped to conclusions. In guess I go back to the Ayo thing and MSU getting a pass on his injury. You really think Tucker should be fired over this? Unless there has been a pattern of this type of behavior on team or he and his coaches were standing there and did nothing to stop it, I just don’t see this as something he should be fired for. Heck even when off field criminal activities by players, it is the covering up of things or intimidating victims/witnesses that I think is fireable — unless, of course, there is a pattern also. Tucker can’t be everywhere and I highly doubt he is preaching this kind of behavior. Now will MSU try to use this as a reason to fire him? Maybe. But to paint this as a “culture” thing is a disservice to Tucker and all the MSU players who weren’t involved and wouldn’t act like this.
All that said, throw the book at the players involved.
