To be clear, not saying Deion is a liar. I think he's very smart and this whole "I have an offer from Colorado" bit may be a way to push someone else, say USF, to hurry up and make a better offer. Who knows? He may very well have an offer from Colorado but he seems smarter than to jump into that mess.agree. he's a hard dude to really figure out. I gotta think his options real high up the ladder are pretty limited.
Maybe Prime Time has the offer? 2 different people. To be clear, not saying Deion is a liar. wowsa , that's gonna leave a mark...........had a guaranteed job after getting passed over for nebby HC job.......might have jeopardized that guarantee...
just sayin.....................
So Coach Walters has been offered a job, or at least an interview?
When I linked to it and read it, I thought that one was bad, then the ESPN story below that was Florida QB Jalen Kitna (John Kitna's son) being arrested for distribution of child porn. Yikes.Huskers' Joseph arrested on suspicion of assault

Kevin Kane, your table is ready.Only way to interpret this is ugh.
If RW feels like it’s the right time to leave and make the jump, I wish him nothing but the best. Selfishly I want him to stay, but I’ve never felt more confident in a HCs ability to attract another high quality, well qualified assistant.Only way to interpret this is ugh.
As someone in roughly the same age group as Coach Sanders, I have a hard time calling him Prime Time anymore. Feels somewhere between ironic and cruel at this stage of life.Maybe Prime Time has the offer? 2 different people.
Has a coordinator that’s never been a HC ever turned down their first opportunity to be a head coach? Especially at a P5 school?I heard Colorado is all in for RW. what does RW want to do?
Sounds RW is likely gone. Has there been any contact with Leonhard at all or would Bret promote from within?Has a coordinator that’s never been a HC ever turned down their first opportunity to be a head coach? Especially at a P5 school?

Would suck if we lost Henry as well. No more DBU.If RW leaves for a HC spot, what is the likelihood anyone on our staff goes with?
I’ve really been hoping for 1 more year, but if he has the opportunity he wants, best of luck to him. Tough time of year to lose a valuable coach with signing day in a couple weeks. I’m sure Bret knows exactly how he will proceed if Walters goes.Has a coordinator that’s never been a HC ever turned down their first opportunity to be a head coach? Especially at a P5 school?
You strike while the iron is hot. With limited amount of P5 jobs and likely a pretty nice salary bump — and throw in it being his alma mater, it is pretty much a no brainer. If he can’t turn Colorado around, he’ll have no problem getting AC job again and in a few years go the G5 route. He’s young enough to still have time to rebuild career. And if he gets say a 6+ year contract, he’ll be able to assemble a staff — especially if he pushes for good sized assistant salary pool.I feel like he’d be better suited at a G5 school where he can put together a staff of up and comers like him (and a few experienced retreads) and work out the kinks of his HC style. Plus it won’t be as hard to win some games while said kinks are worked out.
Convincing good coaches to join him at a program that is in the gutter and run by a less than stellar athletic department and part of a dying conference might be tough to do. You have to be someone like BB who has tons of clout for that.
But maybe he’ll take to head coaching like a fish to water and be amazing!
Do we think this is a possibility? His ties were to BB from Wiscy days was thinking this might be an opportunity for AH to step up into more defensive responsibilities?Would suck if we lost Henry as well. No more DBU.
