You have to hand it to Pastner to keep a head coaching job for so long while producing mediocre results... he could have been the new Oliver Purnell. Last 10 years (first three years at Memphis were much better):Ga. Tech fires Pastner, citing 'high expectations'

In your opinion what is the best of the 3?Pitino will have his pick of SJ, G Town, and Texas Tech ...

How is the talent at the Bullet these days? Will all come down to which has the hottest, most amenable strippers
Rick Pitino at this stage in his life is not living in Lubbock. He wouldn't have to move to take the St. John's job and he could get recrutiing going very quickly with new or newish coaches at Syracuse and Seton Hall. On the other hand, Georgetown probably can put together more money quickly and has a better campus environment and facilities, aside from the chance to play some home games at MSG.In your opinion what is the best of the 3?
(Just curious)
Goeogetown probably has the best resources? Tech is probably in the least disrepair?

Micah Shrewsberry. Anywhere out of the B1G.None of the changes so far surprise me. I think Pitino and SJU are made for each other. Don't have any candidates in mind for the others.
He has been really good this year. The Illini Inquirer breakdown of our game vs. Penn State was brutal, but honest and featured how good Shrewsberry's offensive sets were versus ours.Micah Shrewsberry. Anywhere out of the B1G.

Mizzou extends basketball coach Dennis Gates' contract, pushes salary to $4 million
Dennis Gates' buyout increased to more than $25 million should a school show interest after the Missouri basketball team's breakout season.www.stltoday.com
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Just a few hours after guiding Missouri to the Southeastern Conference tournament semifinals, first-year Tigers coach Dennis Gates received a one-year contract extension. It pushes his salary from $2.5 million to $4 million next season, the school announced Friday, not long after the Tigers beat Tennessee 79-71 in the SEC tournament quarterfinals.

seems a little early to extend , especially by the amount they did........but , it wasn't that long ago when their arena was basically an empty barn on game days ........anywho , here's how they are celebrating this awesome news in Columbia................................

Need someone who can develop an offensive gameplan. If Geoff take a HC gig, let’s throw the bag at Antigua. Chin can kick rocks.
I would be very happy if this is where Shrews ends up. It would take him out of the Big Ten to an opponent we rarely see.Shrews and G town have mutual interest
penn state is losing everyone as well. would be a smart time to leaveShrews and G town have mutual interest
