Guess this wasn't the game we put it together for 40 minutes. They just couldn't play as a team this year, poor chemistry, perhaps.

I see Goode and Ty coming back and the rest I would be surprised. See one serious coaching changes, too. It will be a different look for sure and ill have to buy a program at the first game again to familiarize myself.

I saw Epps shoulder BU during a time out...and he has seemed to ignore BU during chew outs...he could be someone not here next year...I am torn about this...

My best guess would be an unwillingness to do as instructed. But it's just a guess
Pretty damn fine guess there young lady..........the first sign of cracks in the Illini wall was the infamous presser where MM basically gave the impression that he didn't agree with the coaches scheme's and that the players should have a say in how the team was run ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,WRONG...............................His cavalier approach to do as instructed gave me pause and then he played like i can turn on the juice when i feel like it ......Kind of a haughty , condescending personality who liked to hear himself speak ......Some of the presser he gave after practices was filled with kidding around and trying to be the clown in the room........His true nature came through in the end as the last 4-5 games he played lazy and today he looked like he was ready for the season to end....constantly a couple steps slow on defense and his 3 point shooting evaporated completely...........I wish him well in life , but I hope more due diligence is done with other portal players we might be interested in for the future.........

The Illini were 14th out of 14 teams as far as 3 point % in the B$G..................

Some of my frustration is due to having real EVERY DAY players like Trent F. and Damonte W. and Kofi C. and even Alphonzo P. for the short time he was here.......

the season is over .....there were numerous highs and lows in my personal life and my LIFE as an Illini Nation Fanatic.........Somethings I enjoyed immensely and something's broke my heart , BUT I went ALL IN as an Illini Fanatic and I'm way too old to change that and I will NEVER change my love for the UI and all that entails.......

It's hard to se it end , but we are going to field a team next and I will cheer them on , just like I will cheer the lady Illini and next up for me to cheer on is the FB team ............it's the way I'm built .......It really really is .........

Thanks for all the kind words about my personal loss this year and i want to echo what one poster said ....this board is becoming more of family with stuff being discussed that I never have opened up aboot in any other board.....I still have my finger on the ignore button as i feel my family here is something I want to protect as i did when I had a family .......

So ta-ta my friends and have a good weekend as I will be watching a lot of BB this weekend as I know my true friends here will be also....................................

Coleman did turn the ball over a lot today and Arkansas defenders took advantage when he picked up his dribble or was dribbling. He made his fair share of mistakes but nobody questions his team first approach, which not the same can be said for Epps and Mayer
I sure hope he gets a nice NIL offer and comes back for one last year, then gets drafted in the 1st round.
I'm not sure he even goes in the 2nd round if he leaves this year.

Hello, I'd like to take this opportunity on Page 11 of the Postgame thread to say thanks to everyone for observing, analyzing & take-sharing during yet another crazy season of Illini Basketball on this humble website.

It's not always easy to enjoy Illini MBB, yet through it all the fanbase here remained enormous, loyal & powerful. Thanks again for hanging out & making this place so much fun, lively & informative. Go Illini
