That's just the life of someone who sits atop (or near the top) of a large organization. You've always got to have contingency plans.
I had my guard up to keep Brad yesterday, but I’ve fully bought into this better option. Landing a staff of Miller, Cohen, OA, and TA is dream situation type sh*t! (The fantasy staff proposed earlier, although could be realistic). I’m to the point of being disappointed if that doesn’t happen and we run it back lol

JMO, but picking up the phone when opportunity comes calling is different than being the one initiating the conversations.
I even used to tell people I managed that they should absolutely listen to other offers if and when they came around. And if it ever came to the point where they felt the need to start sending out resumes, to come talk to me first to see if I could help them get whatever they felt they were missing. But yeah, if someone shows that they're constantly job searching and it's apparent that I can't make them happy, then none of my long term plans have them in it anymore. See ya, friend. I did my best.

This is unfortunate if true. Because it probably signals that we had culture issues this year not just amongst the players, but within the staff, as well.
Hard to perform at an ‘elite’ level when you are not completely bought in. True in every possession, not just D1 hoops.

From what I'm hearing this goes one of two ways. If Texas loses this weekend Underwood will be the next Texas coach. If Texas makes it to the final four then they will just keep Terry.

Where are you hearing this? Seems like Underwood isn't their frontrunner.
I like Underwood. If everyone internally is on board with each other, I am happy with him as our coach. That all being said, I think most Texas fans would be pissed at an Underwood hire and it only really makes sense if Texas hires someone else and Underwood moves into the vacancy left behind.
