The Winery in Decatur. Pretty good dive bar by Milliken, and Winery burgers are amazing. Been around for decades.

Also, RIP to Bob's Roast Beef. Arbys, but good roast beef.

It's going to be a very interesting year next year from a roster construction standpoint, as thus far based on the transfers being added and the recruits coming in, it's almost like we may be going to more of a "line change" style substitution situation next year where you'll have your starting 5 and then you'll have your "checking/energy" line. In adding Domask, Harmon, and likely Guerrier, to Goode and Sencire, you're looking at a bunch of 4th-5th starter/6th-7th man guys on the roster all likely looking for a bare minimum 10-15 minutes a game (and likely higher) so managing that will be very interesting to say the least.

If TSJ and CoHawk are to come back we're basically looking at something like
Starter:
TBD PG
TSJ
CoHawk
Dainja
Rodgers/Goode

With an Energy line of:
TBD PG/Harmon
Domask
Guerrier
Harris
Rodgers/Goode

With about 5-10min for Amani filling in for Dain or the energy line and spot minutes for DGL and Moretti?

I think it could work so long as the players have good team chemistry and everyone is able to put aside their egos but it'll be a different way to go about it for sure as I have a hard time believing that this roster will only go the typical 7 or 8 deep in the 2nd half of the season as Harmon/Domask/Guerrier didn't come here to sit. A rolling 9 or 10 deep lineup seems most likely, but that's a rarity for a P5 team. I'm intrigued to see how Brad will handle it.
Think Guerrier at the 4 and Coleman at the 5 may be more likely to start.

I just left Robinson today at 4pm. Was there helping my aged dad get his house safer and try to help my bff get his house in order after the tornado last week (it leveled his home). I'll look you up next time!

*methinks the town is actually called Moonshine...but is near Martinsville.
The tornado was wild was at work at refinery when it hit! Moonshine is super good btw

There's a little town in SE part of the state... Noble, IL.....if you haven't had a burger at the "Tin Cup"....then you are at a disadvantage in trying to determine the best Burgers in central/southern Illinois....not to mention their fried chicken and mashed potatoes and gravy are beyond ELITE!!

Okay, but going by what we have right now, that is more like:

Starters:
Harmon
Domask
Hawkins (Can't go pro averaging < 10 pts/game w too many TOs)
Dainja
Rogers/Goode

With reserves of:
Harris
Rogers/Goode
Hansberry
DGL

That's 8-9 deep and less complex to manage. It's also probably somewhere in the middle of the Big Ten, which is a mental adjustment.

Yeah, I'm hoping TJS somehow stays or for great grabs over the next month from the portal, but those might not happen.

Just curious, how is all this burger talk and baseball discussion allowed on the Illinois basketball recruiting page?

Because we've previously covered where everyone is from, what high school we went to and when, why we are Illin fans, and who the hottest women are. We don't do politics, so burgers it is until something happens.
We are nothing if not tangent prone.

Question for the insiders: Did we recruit Brock Harding at all? If not, any idea why? Was he all in w Iowa from the jump? Did we like other PGs better? I saw Harding play a couple times last season and I think we’re going to really hate playing against him for 4 years. Oh, and also… once hamburgers have run their course I look forward to debating the best pizza places in the Midwest.
