Or Airbuds and the SCORE. 😁
Indeed. Parkins and Spiegel are hosting a draft show after Cubs postgame from 5-9 with Wanny and Pat Mannelly. Their show is also going to stream on YouTube and Twitch as well.
Tempting, but not practical. The logistics aren't good. Long story. Distance from the Score, lack of WiFi, many many family. Thank you very much for the help. Probably eat afterward.

The Bears need to pick Skoronski and win the draft on Saturday. If the Bears can find quality players from 4-7, they will be a playoff team this coming year. Getting value late in the draft is how you build a winning team.

You are fine if you don't hear any news about the Draft. I get it, trust me this stuff happens. If going out to eat make sure there are no TVs or sports type restaurant of any type. Time for you to put your scouting report to the test so you don't hear anything ahead of time. Best of luck 🤞

It may not matter due to family, WiFi, etc reasons, but in terms of distance from WSCR, you can listen to them for free anywhere on the Audacy app.

They might black out games based on where you are, but their draft coverage should be available.

This ain't too bad as far as schedule release videos go:

Having the Packers games bookending the season will be different. Fields' improvement led to the team getting more primetime or late kickoff games this season. I still think they're another year from contending in the division but I wouldn't be surprised if they at least split their divisional games.

Tough to top Tennessee's release:

I was hoping the bears would be home the weekend I go up for the penn st game. Darn.

One weekend they're always guaranteed to never play at home (or at least not on Sunday) is Columbus Day weekend due to the Chicago Marathon, as the start/finish line is right near Soldier Field. I know that's not the weekend you would have been there but I was just pointing it out.

That’s actually very useful information, thank you. All my games will be trips I need to plan around so that really helps.

Yeah. In this year's case, they play on the Thursday of that weekend though it happens to be the game at Washington.

If you're looking for an Illini/Bears home game doubleheader, the earliest you could do it would be Homecoming weekend. Illini host Wisky. Bears host the Raiders.

The only other option (though it wouldn't be a Saturday/Sunday) would be Veterans' Day weekend. Bears host the Panthers on Thursday night. Illini host Indiana on Saturday.

Media reports say the Bears are considering a move to west-suburban Naperville. That move would be a mistake.

Naperville already has a far better football team – the North Central College Cardinals. And you don’t have to mortgage your house to go see them play. And they win Titles.

Arlington Heights is no place for the Bears, either. If the Bears want a new home they should build a new stadium somewhere along the Orange Line in Chicago.

And no dome, either. And they can pay for it.

The Naperville stuff is nothing more than a negotiating ploy as it relates to Arlington Heights. The only reason it's an issue in Arlington Heights is because of the assessed property value of the Arlington Racecourse site.

I won't even get into how misguided the North Central/Bears comp is.

And let's say you build a new stadium along the Orange Line. Can you name a site to build it on at this point? Especially considering the money they've already paid on the Arlington Heights site.

Any new stadium for the Bears is going to have a dome and there should be no question about that. Especially the new stadium would allow them to bid on other major events like the Super Bowl, Final Four, and WrestleMania (or even the Royal Rumble and SummerSlam since those are basically stadium shows at this point) among other things.

Is it being misguided or is it a bit of sarcasm? Or maybe, more truthful than many would want to believe. Have you seen that North Central is among the very best in the Nation in its NCAA divisional level? And has been for years?

As for the Orange Line, there are a bunch of large industrial parcels on that side of town begging for use after the factories closed up and shut down. And Chicago neighborhoods that would love to see a major development come in and bring life back to the area after all the jobs left.

And if the Bears insist on having a dome... it should only be built with the covenant that it will never be closed during Bears games or when the temperature is below 30 degrees. You know... real Bears weather.
