Golf Channel reported Tommy and Crystal were named to U.S. Palmer Cup team. Congratulations!
Thought for sure ADC would make it for Internationals. Nope.
He looked like a lock last month, according to Palmer Cup rankings. April 20, he's not even listed. What?

Time for a an email to Illini golf office to try to find out what happened.

But if you're trying to pin me down, I think West Oceania (USA) is a good bet.
Adrien is at top of PGA Tour University list. Makes sense he would go pro here in good old West Oceania.

Just wondering since the NCAA individual champion will get an invite to The Masters, if he wins, turns pro, will he still get the invite?
NCAA champ would have to maintain amateur status to accept the invite. Could be a really tough decision for someone. Almost a full year between the NCAA’s and the Masters.

Doesn't happen often, but Colt Knost did turn it down in 2007. NCAA champ wait is even longer.
ADC off to a slow start, 2 over after 2. We are -2 early one back of both Iowa and Wisconsin. Lots of golf left.
I looked at that. We are hanging on to A 2 stoke lead at E. Tommy had a tough front hopefully we all great shoot under par as the scores are going to be high.
Up 6 and 8 strokes now on the other top schools that are just about finished. Like getting out to a lead in the early innings of a baseball game where rain is in the forecast. Tomorrow's forecast makes today look like Hawaii. Course is right on the ocean, pretty close to where Sandy landed.
Exactly! This might be a 36 hole event so no time to dig out of a hole. Shaping up to be a really solid first day lead if they can get it in the clubhouse around +5 or +6.
Wisconsin is probably going to end up in second place at the end of day 1 the way the scores are headed.

Tough day but the Illini has the lead after round 1 at 8 over. Matthias Besard is leading at -1 which is a great score considering the weather conditions. We have overall a 6 stroke lead so let’s build on that as last year it was a tussle against Iowa.
MSU almost got them last year. Weather looks even worse tomorrow. Going to be a test of patience, if they play.
The weather today looks fine? Maybe some wind 10-17 mph all day but high 50s and no rain. Sunday looks awful. 15-20 mph of wind mid 50s and pouring all day. I’m guessing they skip Sunday and either play Monday or just don’t play 54? Or maybe they get in 2 today?
That’s good. I looked last night and it looked ugly. No way to get two in today unless they pushed up the start times which they didn’t. Not sure if Monday is an option or not.
Is there TV coverage? Can’t find it
Nothing live. They have a 1 hour highlight show or something on May 6th at 10AM.
