In Ken Pom era (since 2002), we've done it 4 times:

2002, 2005, 2006, and 2021
Narrow miss in 2003 (7th in AdjDE and 22nd in AdjOE, 5th in AdjEM).

Challenging targets, but targets you typically need to meet or exceed if you want to be serious title contenders. Since 2002:
- 20/21 champs were in the top 19 in KenPom AdjOE (with 18/21 in the top 9); and
- 20/21 champs were in the top 18 in KenPom AdjDE (with all in the top 22 and 18/21 in the top 15).

I don’t disagree it’s going to be tough without Hawk and TJ. I think we have a bit of addition by subtraction with us losing Epps and RJ

What do you mean by not a high standard on offensive improvement?

To a point it should. I think teams are going to guard Ty from three at all. They would love him shooting threes. Domask the certainly will guard and to your point having a pg and other shooters around him I expect Domask around or over 40 percent. He is an 87 percent FT shooter and will knock down threes getting better looks than he ever has. That is something we lacked last season.

Exactly ... coach BU saw this early after the Skyy flop. Epps has pwr 5 pg experience issues thus in his absense, coach BU is looking for an older exp pg

Actually thought RJ was a good defensive player. Length and quickness that I don’t think Luke and Domask have. Saying we weren’t very good offensively last year so not difficult to be better next year. PG to set up offense and shooters better than what we are losing. Of course it does depend on getting that point guard.
Ranked 26 on defense and 68 on offense per Kenpom.
