That's fair but Green is/was also a legitimate star player and starter on a dynasty.Better vertical would be nice, bit it's far down the list. The biggest issue is decision-making, though I think a competent PG would help immensely there. Also more important to improve shooting, both 3-pt and mid-range than it is to increase vertical leap. But part of that is shot selection and again a good PG would help there.
I see what the previous poster is saying about Draymond Green. Like Green, Hawk does a lot of things well ("stat sheet stuffer"). But Green was an extremely productive player at MSU. His senior year he averaged 16.2 ppg and 10.6 rebounds/game.
3 pt shooting would be a huge add but I just don't really see it unless he drastically changes something. He's never shot over 30% from 3 in a season and is sitting at 28.1% for his career and only 63.8% from the free throw line. If he was a good free throw shooter I would have easier time buying him significantly improving his jump shot.
However, due to the length and the athleticism he doesn't need to be a scorer to have a decent NBA career coming off the bench. Simply being able to protect the rim, guard 2-5 and switch defensively, and pass the ball to shooters would be enough to have a 10 year career as a bench role player and they get paid very well these days.
I think he should embrace the dirty work, non scorer type of role instead of trying to turn himself into a scorer. Think like a skinnier version of Joakim Noah.
