It is still the conclusion of published article, in contrast with anonymous message board posters...That is just some writer’s opinion without supporting evidence.
Saturdaze beat me to it.
Ford. Not coming here though, heard he has an Indiana Jones.Who is this Harrison that can’t shoot?.
He was mostly behind the scenes and didn’t sing many hits. Mostly just While My Guitar Gently Weeps.Who is this Harrison that can’t shoot?.
Lot that is supposed to say Harris on as in SencireI thought Harrison was a good shooter....lol
Unfortunately, he had to create a lot of those shots himself bc there was no PG. that UCLA game was him on fire (true) but he had a relatively competent setup PG.I would hope he is better than Shannon. Shannon is a very streaky shooter. If it wasn't for the UCLA game I think he would be looked at as a negative from 3.
Joe is a thorn in every team’s side. Go back and watch his games against Iowa state. Dude was like John Lennon, he took the tuba he was given and made music. He’s not always an efficient scorer but he never stops creating on the floor. Can I ask why? To be fair, I didn't watch a lot of WVU games so I'm not a fair judge. I remember him being a terrible shooter at Iowa and teams sagging off of him daring him to shoot. And it doesn't look like he's a high assist guy. Didn't rank in the top 350 players last year in assists per game. Looks like he takes care of the ball & has a good assist-to-turnover ratio. Brings toughness & D but just don't see him adding a ton.
He would have been every bit as good his first year.Considering he was in his second year when he became eligible to play it was not a surprise
You’re confusing “published” with “credible.”It is still the conclusion of published article, in contrast with anonymous message board posters...
Jodi Harrison? he was a good point guard back in the '60s! Not a good outside shooter though. THAT Harrison??Who is this Harrison that can’t shoot?.
Is this from going up against DGL, Moretti and Hansberry?Believe what you want, but I have heard Ty looks really good in the pg role so far
Brad's 59. Most of his living and learning should have been done by now.Brad probably was too lenient last year with players not playing to our culture...would like to think he's lived and learned, and will more freely bench cancers as they develop.
Because of playing time, not attitude. From the article
"We can pretty clearly say that Kerr Kriisa’s entry into the transfer portal — leaving the Arizona Wildcats — was a coach-encouraged transfer."
We get it. Same schtick on every one of your posts with a rant about Underwood.I can‘t speak for everyone, but I think the items you mentioned are discussed as symptoms rather than the actual problem.
The BU supporters have been trying to defend him but the big picture is that the program under BU very clearly peaked Ayo’s last year and has been on a steady decline since then.
This offseason was supposed to be the one we reload, and that hasn’t happened. Domask and Harmon may end up being great additions but we are in an even worse position than last year PG. Saying we can’t find a PG because none match our culture is a program failure.
Me, both. Plus, both genders.Honest question here. How many on here have coached at the HS or College level ? I’m being serious.
Believe what you want, but I have heard Ty looks really good in the pg role so far
Bergeron. The sandbags, glasses and headphones make it tough to focus...Who is this Harrison that can’t shoot?.
I think this was reposted from the original in June 2022.Then when I say this I’m sure you will back me up on this. There are times when coaches know when they have that team that can win a lot of games even tho outsiders who haven’t seen the team’s offseason workouts/practices question the next season. A coach has that feel when there is great chemistry, improved play from players and there is a certain FEEL when to leave it alone because it will work. I get the sense BU really likes what he and the staff are seeing and feels they can win a conference and make a postseason run. Yes on the outside it’s easy to say the Illini need a PG but the coaches are seeing everyday what we are not.
Sencire would be guarding him so if he can look good there it would be a good sign. Sencire can guard anyone in the nationIs this from going up against DGL, Moretti and Hansberry?
It's been two years since Ayo's peak, one of which we won a Big Ten title. This feels a little dramatic. Of course we were going to peak in Ayo's last year, we were the #2 in the country. The BU supporters have been trying to defend him but the big picture is that the program under BU very clearly peaked Ayo’s last year and has been on a steady decline since then.
The doom and gloom from some on this board would make you think this a Washington Generals fan page. It's been two years since Ayo's peak, one of which we won a Big Ten title. This feels a little dramatic. Of course we were going to peak in Ayo's last year, we were the #2 in the country.
Last year we struggled. Still made the tourney, though. Can we give it one more season before we start talking about steady declines? Please?
