injuredI didn't get to watch the game. Was Luke pulled or did he he get injured?
Looked like he hit his head on the turf on his 3rd down fumble we fortunately recovered.I didn't get to watch the game. Was Luke pulled or did he he get injured?
My roku automatically records all illini games on youtube.tv. only way I got to see the miracle.Replay on BTN isn't until Monday afternoon.
BB said he "looked funny".
Sorry, it was Jim Klein not John Wright. A little too excited as I was typing.Amazing. I’ve followed Illini football since the 70’s and at the moment I can’t think of a better finish. Maybe the game at Michigan where Simeon Rice stripped the ball and recovered the fumble, then Johnny Johnson threw to John Wright for the game winning TD. But Johnson was the QB1, not a cold reserve. What we saw today was historic.
I was at that game, too. Hearing the Michigan crowd going silent was a fantastic experience.Sorry, it was Jim Klein not John Wright. A little too excited as I was typing.
I'm glad I was not the only one - although I'll admit to turning it back on with about 3 minutes left or so . . .Ok....you all have my word....I will forever turn the game off with 5 min left and we are down one TD.
What. The. @#$%.
