I don't much like football, but I'll put on my phone while I do work around my place.

That was an awesome time-line from shaking my head about turnovers to a back up QB coverting a 4th and 11 that he didn't create, then just throwing 2 more passes to get 65 yards.

Wild stuff.

This one got a workout on the basketball threads last season. Definitely works for this game:

Amazing. I’ve followed Illini football since the 70’s and at the moment I can’t think of a better finish. Maybe the game at Michigan where Simeon Rice stripped the ball and recovered the fumble, then Johnny Johnson threw to John Wright for the game winning TD. But Johnson was the QB1, not a cold reserve. What we saw today was historic.
Sorry, it was Jim Klein not John Wright. A little too excited as I was typing.

Holy !!!!. What a finish. I’ll need time to decide if that was a bigger “back from the dead” win than ‘19 MSU. But I don’t care. What a !!!!ing win.

Though one has nothing to do with the other, I find it interesting and somewhat amusing that the QB who left the MAC and took a demotion throws the winning pass the same week that another guy who left the MAC and took a demotion gets relieved of his play calling duties.

The fact that we could still win the Big Ten West is as wacky as it gets. Let's win out and beat Michigan's a$$ in the Big Ten finale for videotaping (of course we need help to get there).

Ok....you all have my word....I will forever turn the game off with 5 min left and we are down one TD.

What. The. @#$%.
I'm glad I was not the only one - although I'll admit to turning it back on with about 3 minutes left or so . . .
