Four.Three
In his defense, and I have my concerns, but we did lose most of our defensive backfield from last year including a top 5 nfl pick.I've seen enough of Henry. This is the worst defensive backfield I've seen in a long, long time. They're either getting burnt or causing a DPI (or spitting on people). But he's Bielema's best buddy, known him since he was 16 or whatever so I'm sure we'll have to put up with this trash for a few more years.
Me too except for Taz's personal foulLooking forward to the highlight film.
If Rutgers comes back to beat Iowa we could be playing for a lot more than that...Wisconsin currently down big to Northwestern. they are also at 5 wins...we could be playing for a bowl game in the final week
No, Paddock is the starter. Are we sure there's no QB controversy?
Indiana was averaging less than 19ppg coming into today with a redshirt freshman QB. All three levels were bad today. They ran that option keeper about 10 times and fooled us every single one of them. That being said the fact that ever rushed the ball once was baffling since they were getting all they wanted in the passing game. Our end of half/game defense is just putrid. It's either scheme or our players are out position, which is also on the coaches. These guys aren't as good as the ones we lost last year, but they aren't Sun Belt quality players either. In his defense, and I have my concerns, but we did lose most of our defensive backfield from last year including a top 5 nfl pick.
That being said - the lack of pressure on the QB is pissing me off.
Seeing these kids smile and enjoy the win makes all of our message board chat seem so insignificant.
Probably both. Remember seeing one play where db followed rb in flat once ball snapped, de Coleman also followed; slant wide open. That was schemed up a certain way and not executed well. But coaching should get them in right position; not glaring mistakes. End of game appeared to be scheme.Indiana was averaging less than 19ppg coming into today with a redshirt freshman QB. Are we sure that was him? Saboor Karriem also wears #2.and got called for a facemask penalty
I was thinking the same thing! This story reminds me of Kurt Warner.

Most of our receivers were wide open. Will have to find tight targets against Iowa.I know everyone is all about the Paddock wagon right now but IU's defense was BAD BAD BAD. Leaving receivers open, letting them get over the top, not providing much in the way of pressure against a line that has been giving it up all year. Definitely helped make his job easier.
