Please, please, please, please, please...don't question what the insiders tell us! I know there are 40+ Johnnie Cochran's in here, but come on, your "expertise" doesn't mean s**t in this situation. Certain insiders have hinted at how this will turn out. If only the Illini AD was a lawyer...Oh...Wait...What???

I'm not saying I watched the press conference multiple times, but maybe I did? The message was extremely measured. Repeatedly implied Douglas County was evasive in communications. Refers to Terrance as "TJ" over and over and over. If kid is guilty and there's a need to separate it's instead "Mr. Shannon".

I'm totally reading tea leaves and sacraig is definitely gonna throw up another funny gif mocking all this flailing speculation by people who know nothing. But man, it sure seemed like Mr. Whitman was putting something out there that was extremely pro-TSJ, and you know what was delivered got okay'd from the very top.

I see. I was not aware. That actually explains some of this. That’s the problem trying to make sense out of proceedings in other jurisdictions that you’re not familiar with. I don’t understand what this Kansas DA is doing. It’s so peculiar to me for a prosecutor to drop a serious felony charge on a person and then the court says “OK let’s see everyone back here in four weeks” and that’s it. But I’m starting to realize I’m out of my depth, as I guess pretty much all of us are.
Nice, I guess I made the right choice not reading your long and tedious post

I was agreeing with what some of our reliable insiders had mentioned. He gave as little information as possible...almost like a lawyer would do!

Why do people have to be jerks to people that were just trying to lend some legal insight? We're all just trying to understand as much as we can and thought this was a forum for that. And there's no disrespect intended for the "insiders." Some of us, like me, are new here in the last few days and still figuring out who the insiders are.

Happy new year, make sure you pay your BILL's and develop a strong sense of SELF
Interesting in that when I previously posted that Loren Tate said Coach S was helping TSJ in any way he could, several comments were downright critical of said Coach and Loren.

Will never forget watching Deon play in Iowa City after that, think it was '93 or '94. Everyone waving their car keys every time Deon shot a free throw. Never been around a more hostile crowd. Just vicious. I hated Iowa before that game, hated them way more after. But I was a young back then, a college kid, I've matured since, had kids, 30 years have gone by....and I somehow hate Iowa even more now.
Off topic here, but the absolute worst was the Arizona State crowd when Steve Kerr played for Arizona. His father was a diplomat (I believe) and was killed by the PLO. ASU fans would chant at hin "PLO! PLO!". Mindblowingly crude and tasteless

Steve Keri’s father was a professor at the American University in Beirut and was assassinated. Incredibly disgusting by ASU fans if true.
