Of course Mizzou is involved. I'm certain another school will dish out more money.
I will say this is interesting because On3 website updated things today and they have Virginia Tech and Michigan State as his leaders, but this shows 4 different teams.

Thx! It seemed like we had some successes going to our TEs last year (at least better than previous season) but didn't seem like we consistently looked for them.

Would love something akin to what Wisky did with TEs back in BBs day.
Last year wr was a strength in the passing game. Hard to take iw/ wash/bryant off the field. Less formations with 2te. I assume now with less experience at wr, there will be more 2te with Rusk. But idk.

On3 predictions and NIL information are completely meaningless, I wouldn't put any stock into either
From what I heard for most teams On3 is the most accurate of the recruiting sites but the Illini seem to be a blind spot. On3 poached a lot of 247's talent for the more brand name schools. However if On3 say poaches Werner for example then things get interesting.

I think we are fine with our OL right now. The 2 transfers Illinois got are pretty highly ranked. Davis is ranked #5 among OT in the portal and Wigenton is ranked #24 among IOL in the portal. They need a TE,DT and a CB yet.
i would suggest that our offensive line was our Achilles heal last year. quantity doesnt solve that problem.

Ya mean like the rookie who just made the NFL Pro Bowl? Like that? Yeah... I'd take that 😀
If you have Laporta, you don't ask him to block, maybe chip, but his job is to get down field against a
linebacker. that is the Murray St. kids talent. We've had blocking tight ends and what has that gotten
us?

I could be wrong but I would be surprised if guys like Billings is getting NIL. Could be getting promises based on future performance?

I thought performance-based NIL was strictly prohibited.

Man it's feeling like we're in the minor leagues as far as play and recruiting compared to mizzou smh
Sadly it feels like we are finding out having world class training is not as important as world class NIL. I could be wrong but that’s what I’m putting most of the blame on for our misses. I agree with posters that have said this Missouri series could not have returned at a worse time. Clearly our path is thru developing young guys. We will never buy our way to the top.
