He is. However, before his Buffalo stint he was the head coach for Romulus High School from 2002-2013 which is located in Michigan so maybe he developed a special connection during his time there.
I remember the days when recruiting websites would like kid's ACT/SAT scores. Some of our recruits under Zook weren't exactly Rhodes Scholars

Do you not think he will stay one more year due the entire team is eligible to come back? He could have a powerhouse in Terre Haute next year. Just curious I am also a Sycamore alum and follow them pretty closely. I also realize with how well he is doing this is just a stopping point, but would like a tourney run or some sort of banner in the rafters for his time there, which could be wishful thinking.

edit: cronin has had a decent run at UCLA, but they are down this year. muss would bring some big recruits in and I could see being a good fit there if they have a short leash
USC is also very bad. would like to see both oats and muss end up in the B1G because i want the best teams in the B1G
