Ha! I never would've thought both teams had basically the same percentage at the FT line. Good call--it was the DD effect.
You're not being a downer, but you have to expect that now. We have a problem in the backcourt defensively. With this team, it's where it all starts. BU put shot blockers in the game to try and balance that out. Our ability to guard the dribble drive is abysmal.

Win out and get a couple in the BTT and I think a 3 might be possible

Not too worry about the points more concern about FG%. We play uptempo so there are more possessions compared to other teams. Also we need to eliminate the easy baskets off inbounds. Iowa has a good offense

I have to stop you here. I respect all of our posters a TON, but given the last month and the Moretti rabbit out of the hat ....forget tournament seeding. We're nowhere close to a top 3 seed. Don't let one win cloud the reality, which is we're struggling to hold teams under 80 and it took Moretti coming out of left field(plus an all world game by Hawkins) to win that game. That was a troubling first 30 minutes.
He played well. That's what he's supposed to do. I just hope he doesn't give up the backdoor as he is prone to do when playing defense in a crucial situation; he tends to overplay his offender at times.

Let's just fix what we need to fix which is the defense. The seed will take care of itself. Besides, it doesn't matter if we're a #1, #3, #4, #5, etc...whoever we draw will send us out early if we keep playing defense like this.
Way better than you'd expect. He did get absolutely bodied on a drive to the basket, but he fought through screens and held his own. Now, can he do that against more athletic guards? That's the question. Inarguably, the effort was there, though.
If Tyler is the offensive guru then we need to hire his sister for defense.
Surprisingly solid. Don’t think it’s very repeatable against teams not named Iowa though.
