If we’re going to play the stat game and comparing apples to apples.. in conference play/per 100 possessions..Myles Rice - 44% FG, 27% 3PT, 3.8 AST, 2.6 TO
Marcus Domask - 45% FG, 29% 3PT, 3.9 AST, 2.3 TO
TYMorez playing in the hoop summit on FS1
Myles Rice is a very good player, good get for IU. I would bet against him being a first team all B10 guy like Domask was.Myles Rice - 44% FG, 27% 3PT, 3.8 AST, 2.6 TO
Marcus Domask - 45% FG, 29% 3PT, 3.9 AST, 2.3 TO
Oh yeah I agree Rice was a tier below Domask this past year. But theirs a difference between playing at SIU and Washington State in the PAC12. Listen I really hate Indiana but let’s be realistic they got a heck of a player today and hopefully we can do the same soonRice's ORtg on sports reference was 106.7. Domask this year was 116.4. Domask as a freshman was 110.9, and his worst was 107. Rice could improve to be as good as or better than Domask, but he might not, and he was definitely a tier below him this year.

7'2, 235lb. I've only seen him during the tournament. He looked decent offensively. I did not watch his defense carefully enough to have an opinion.
Any interest in Ivisic?

Theirs a reason Kylan wasn’t even playing in the tourney during key situations….::30 for 30 voice::
What if I told you.. Myles Rice was a detriment to his team last year based on Sports-Reference.com’s Offensive/Defensive ratings per 100 possessions in conference play.
*side note Kylan Boswell was a smidge better in both
He’s like a 20-21yr old freshman thoughRice was a freshman Marcus was a 5th year senior this is not a comparison. Also Myles was shooting 36% from 3 until he went through a slump (likely fatigue from having to sit out a year due to cancer)
It was his first year playing college basketball age doesn’t matter experience doesHe’s like a 20-21yr old freshman though
In his first game he made 5 straight threes but they changed one to a two after reviewing.7'2, 235lb. I've only seen him during the tournament. He looked decent offensively. I did not watch his defense carefully enough to have an opinion.
From ESPN:
GP MIN FG% 3P% FT% REB AST BLK STL PF TO PTS 15 11.7 57.7 37.5 77.3 3.3 0.6 1.3 0.3 1.5 1.0 5.5
Not too shabby on 12m/game as a freshman. I like the 1.3 blocks. At first glance, he might work as a 5 out rim protector.
So 20-21 year olds aren’t more physically developed than 17-18 year olds. Boswell is better. It was his first year playing college basketball age doesn’t matter experience does
Mind if I borrow your spell checker? Mine must have gotten into my Blantons stash.AAhh....but after several bourbons the new math begins to make some sense
I’m actually quite sure that insiders have said that while there might be a cap; if necessary we have the ability to go into the “luxury tax” for the right person.Because all signs point to us only having so much money, a salary cap per se. So every dollar we give to Storr is one less dollar we can spend on other pieces.
Edit: It was so obvious that about 12 other posters said the exact same thing.
I’ve seen some bad takes on here but this might take the cake for the worst oneBoswell is good but he’s not even on the same level as a guy like B Smith or Rice. I have him as about the same level as Tony Perkins last year but slightly worse on the offensive side
I’m sorry, but do you think anybody on here disagrees with that statement? I mean, we have multiple open roster spots right now, with some more possibly opening with CF leaving — of course we still need help! Were not going into the year with 8 scholarship players.TSJ

We're getting Desmond Howard? He's a little old now, isn't he? Also more of a football guy.
