I’ll defend crazy woman fan til the day I die. Love the energy
She annoys me. A lot. And that's putting it mildly.

But I have begrudgingly come around to appreciating her unwavering and unflagging relentlessness, particularly since the remodel that's partially neutered the impact Krush can have when they're active and engaged.

The thing that changed my view was considering how annoying she must be to all visiting players - she's a built-in nuisance for visitors, but our players have probably developed an immunity (at least relative to our opponents) with repeated exposure.

I think this is a ruse to allow the athletic department to move the crazy woman fan from the first row to someplace where she won't be on TV.

She probably spends as much money on those tickets as anybody so no chance she is moved. As others have said sometimes she can be the only one giving energy in a dead building which has been really helpful the last couple years.

Yeah, you are not getting courtside seats (in old or new model) without being a serious donor/dropping down lots of cash. Completely agree.

I sat behind her la at year at the Colgate game and barely noticed her honestly. I think her and one of the refs maybe joked around with each other a bit

Who is this crazy woman fan you speak of? Never noticed her on TV.
The gambit of briefly changing into a referee's shirt also boosted my view of her.

Can anyone explain what this is what it's supposed to solve? My cynical side says it's an excuse to move people against their will and/or charge them more for the same product, but at the bare minimum there has to be some excuse to do this

I assume partially it is to provide some transparency. I could never get a straight answer out of the ticket office or Ifund about exactly what Ifund level will get me what section. Was always a vague well it all depends on priority points, renewals, etc. This is much more clear in pay X to get Y section.

Wow, I did not realize how expensive it is to buy tickets in the "blue hairs" lower 100 level at Assembly-- err, State Farm Center... $750 season tickets plus a $4K I-Fund contribution, and that's just for one ticket. My wife would kill me if I bought two of those.

Oh there will Vaseline, and plenty of it. This time it will include sand in the Vaseline . . . .

The tickets themselves are around $41 per game so really not that bad. I've gotten the mobile pass the last couple seasons and that's only $13-14 per game plus the $250 donation that gets you a parking pass for both football and basketball. Definitely not a bad deal.

Why exactly did you blur out the scores to the game? As I recall, it was a favorable outcome...
Because I sent those pictures in real time to multiple people and I didn't know whether everyone was watching live and didn't want to potentially spoil anything.

And I didn't care enough to un-edit them prior to posting here.

Pardon my coarseness, but any time I see the words below in a business process or project definition, I know it means to bend over and hope Vaseline was included in the project budget.

True. The wording is, IMO, comical. Like a PR consultant wrote it.

It doesn't seem ticket prices for football are drastically changed. They're going to get you on the parking. Sell the tickets and let everyone figure out parking is the issue so get into a higher IFund level is their motto. If you like to walk, parking is $0.

I was planning on giving more next year anyway, I've been kinda cheap. Not that I care that much where I park, I prefer not to get log jammed into a spot making it hard to leave so no biggie here.

I might even be able to get slightly better seats for football under the new arrangement? Time will tell.

I'm waiting for the donor money that goes directly to the players to get incorporated into the IFund benefits. That might move the needle for me to give to ICON, or whatever future name they come up with.

This is only going to get worse when colleges start paying players, especially if there is no salary cap.
