It’s one of those things that can look great on PowerPoint slides, and look great when the initial influx of $ hits, but end up being a total disaster.

Everyone is pretty confident Luke will be back
Hopefully this is just negotiating to get more $, but it sounds like he’s open to moving on if the offer is right.
Yeah, this one sucks a little bit. That's a hit on our depth.
Private school league, no classroom attendance necessary lol.Might work for private schools but probably not public institutions. State assets and all.
he’s just angling for more money & deservedly so

0440,Remember coaches are always way ahead of the media and public about portal targets….I will say our NIL continues to go up by the day.
Luke is easily the best passing QB we've had in like 15 years right? Scheelhaase had the 3.3k yard season but turned the ball over a bunch in a system not made for him.
Don't think I can remember the last time we had a QB actually develop substantially each season.
It’s not even close. Nate had really only one season even close to this Altmyer one, his 2013 season, but he had a lot more interceptions and had a lot of counting stats because we threw so much. Efficiency wise Altmyer had the best season since Kittner.Yes. The Scheelhaase argument is Illinois screwed around during his sophomore and junior year and didn’t lean into his strengths. Nate was around during some really crappy staffs.
hmm, gonna wade into this gently but depending on how youre defining efficiency, can easily make an argument for Tommy Devito. the fact that he did that in his only season here is also impressive. had better comp % than LA, KK or NSIt’s not even close.
