And yet the game threads and post game threads for losses and closer than hoped for wins are exactly the same.TSJ, Marcus Domask, Trent Frazier, DMFW, Ty, Ayo........shall I go on?

What’s our record when we hit 9+ 3sWe are 10-1 (Alabama) when Ben makes at least two threes.
It wouldn’t have unfolded that way. It’s not linear. They stepped off the gas due to their huge lead. It happens especially in the NBA where no 20 point lead is ever safe.I said to my seat mates near the end of the first half, we need to build this lead big enough that we can’t give it away in the second half. Can you imagine if it had been ten at half instead of twenty.
11-2.What’s our record when we hit 9+ 3s
Thanks. I wasn’t sure off the top of my head. I feel that 30% number is key for us11-2.
We had 10 threes in our Alabama loss and 9 in the first meeting against Northwestern.
I'm a Coleman fan, but he doesn't belong in this group. Those mentioned all have a nasty competitive mentality no matter the score.Yes, Coleman
Most of the time Brad just turns around and yells at whoever is behind him. Poor Booth, Ty and Jason get the worst of it lolAnyone else in attendance notice how annoyed Brad was with Hamer? Chewed his !!! about every other basketball.
I’ll give the Krush credit for being better in the 1st half.
2nd half tailed off and far too many people dozing off. (100 level included)
I also miss the John Groce days.I was in the Krush 10 years ago, cheering on .500 basketball teams, essentially. We had a far greater impact on the games than these students have had this season. How does this get fixed?
Thanks - i was wondering why he was yelling at Adam Fletcher once and Ty Rodgers another time! Most of the time Brad just turns around and yells at whoever is behind him. Poor Booth, Ty and Jason get the worst of it lol
I can’t decide if you’re a: a troll, a masochist, or someone who just plain doesn’t like basketball that much.I also miss the John Groce days.
Yep, I think I was going for toughness being the thing we come up short with in some games. And yet the game threads and post game threads for losses and closer than hoped for wins are exactly the same.
This here. Championship teams don’t let up and don’t ever relax. Bad habits have a way of showing up at the wrong time. Coach K was one of the best with this. He had all the talent in the world but he taught them to never let your opponent think they had a chance….ever!Got to see both spectrums of IL in the same game today. First 25-30 minutes were great. We were locked in, focused, playing hard. Last 10-15 we were unfocused, undisciplined, and looked disinterested.
This team is good and could be great, but they need to learn how to bring effort for 40 minutes.
Yup, comfortable leads aren't always enough. I probably wouldn't say, "OK, it really over" unless we were up (or down) 15 or so with 2 minutes left. Or MAYBE up (or down) 35 at pretty much any point of the gameYou're on to something, but IIRC Kansas was "comfortable", maybe in regulation and 1st OT, in their home loss to Houston last night.
I told myself to be very patient with this team and wait until January to start reaching any conclusions. Time’s up and my conclusion is that we have no “special” on a consistent basis and we have quite a bit of non-special fairly regularly. Not a good recipe
53 in a half without their best player is disgusting. Is it time to accept that we are in huge trouble if we can’t rebound a bunch of our misses? These guys simply can’t shoot.
It was the first post I read when I opened the thread. I just thought we were naming former players.Otho Tucker
