"McCray has the ability to be one of the top running backs in the conference, but the talent around him is questionable and could hamper his ability to gain 1,000 yards. If the offensive line is shored up in Champaign, McCray could be a sleeper all-conference performer."

They don't seem to realize the whole line is returning and should be BETTER, and that # of carries will provide the ability to get to 1k yards. His yards per carry were solid. Or maybe they think he needs a better QB? lol

Yeah I saw that about the o-line but this publication had Altmyer ranked fourth best in B1G as well so I think they’re generally positive about our prospects.

Edit: also keep in mind only 9 RBs ran for 1k+ yards last season and only four of them were not PSU, OR, or tOSU so that’s pretty elite company.
