Yeah, I'm certainly not heartbroken over this... if I had $2M to go get one guy (or say it was $1.5M if the first number was inflated) it wouldn't be Josh Dix, that's for sure

When BU came up short in the portal last year and the sky was falling (who can forget the exhausting whining over Storr?), he shocked everyone with his stellar euro recruits. Plan A, B and C may collapse but Brad will always end up with a strong roster. Be patient and trust.

I'd take him over Sellers I think, and definitely over Storr.
He visited Texas A&M before Buzz left, don't be surprised if Maryland gets involved. Gonzaga interested as well.
A lot of similarities with Dix really. Crafty player. Chicago kid, went to Simeon.
He was never leaving home so not sure why he teased the other schools.

Maybe it was always about trying to get the best possible offer from Creighton? Would explain why he played his cards so close to the vest, and it looked at various times like both us and Indiana were in the lead. Honestly, the right way to play the situation from the player's end, even if you know right away where you want to be. Sucks though for the teams that thought they had a chance but never really did (if that's what happened).
I'd gladly go to war with that group, esp. since you'd add our two incoming freshman guards, Ben, Jake, and Jakstys.

Do you know where they pivot from Dix & Sellers? I'm assuming the dominoes you're referring to are Z & (hopefully) Sarr. Those are great, but need to add a lot more than just that.
Better than getting nobody. If we miss out on all our targets, there's no other choice. But I doubt we'll be fortunate enough to have a Will, Tomi, KJ end of game miracle if we were to go that route again.
It feels like our entire goal in recruiting is to throw a ton of darts at good but not great players and hope our ROI is good.
